Debt limit raised AGAIN, will no one reign in spending EVER?

Trump has made some cuts here and there. Unfortunately much of the savings from those cuts went straight to the military which is a massive vehicle for crony capitalism despite what some people want to believe. Additionally we hear rumblings of “infrastructure” deals in the works. Perhaps this is where Nancy Pelosi and President Trump come together. Hooray. More money spent. Government expanded yet more.

And no one seems to care these days. After years of “conservatives” complaining of the rising debt, now crickets. We wonder why? Their concerns are just as valid now if not more so than they were before. What has changed? What has changed?

The truth is we’ll probably keep on doing what we’re doing until the debt starts to affect things uncontrollably. We won’t take the wise tack. We won’t reduce the size of government.

And increasing revenue, taxes isn’t the answer either. Cutting taxes should be the goal in an era when technology can make government much more efficient. However when we cut taxes we should cut government spending also.
