At a time when initiating violence against other people and their property has been justified in the name of “equality”, there has never been a more important to revisit the wisdom of Dr. King. Most importantly, he reminds us the ultimate goal of non-violent social change is reconciliation. This is 360 degrees from the anger and division permeating modern society, whose only object appears to be the vanquishment of one’s enemies.
